Hacking Pokepatch question

Can anyone help an EZFlash noob?

I bought an EZFlash 3-in-1 to migrate Pokemon from GBA games and get the "GBA insertion Pokemon". I got the roms. What do I need to do? Now I've done some researched and these are what I got.

• I need to use GBAExploader
• I need to patch a clean version of the Pokemon Game
• PokePatch doesn't work on Platinum

I'm basically clueless. The only thing I can do with it right now is to play LeafGreen.

Please help me out.
