Hacking Pokemon XD On GC Backup Launcher

So I got Pokemon XD as a .gcm file and I read online that you just have to change .gcm to .iso and you'll be fine. Well I did that but when I insert the CD and load up the backup launcher it shows the screen then shows the boot menu. Now I tryed all the possiblities. NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, HDTV, etc. All of them have the same effect. A black screen and nothing, not even sound.
So can someone tell me the problem? and solution.

Well it depends on what dic you use. You have to use a dvd-r or change the book type to dvd-r (idk how to) then you should be okay.

Ok. Now i got it to work i was just using the wrong backup launcher, but now it is black and white. I am using Wiigators GC backup launcher 0.2 when it loads the disc the screen goes in black and white and shakes but then after i hit Ntsc it is just black and white.
