Its not possible to put edited pokemon back in the game (for the average user anyway)

Use any man in the middle attack to route traffic to a machine you control, osx can use ipfw and divert sockets, windows has something, linux netfilter
Just wont help much because you know, checksum

Looks complete and utter BS. phtcache.bin is related to photo entry caching. It has nothing to do with pokemon. Even the name suggests "photo cache".

he probably got the eeve from a different box while the camera was off. It's not too hard to catch a pokemon with matching stats if u try hard enough.

After the video "cuts off" and he opens the 3ds, its already in the home menu. it should show the error screen like he showed the first time if he didn't open his 3ds. fatal mistake

but yeah, that file is already documented, and the changing number (3 to 4) has something to do with photos. nothing about pokemon.

This is a step in the right direction. I will never ever competitively battle, i don't do it, i'm not interested. I just want to complete the pokedex and not spend 50000 hours doing it.

Nintendo will fix this same way as they did the Wii Shop Channel user agent spoofing years ago, which is to use SSL. all it will take is a Pokemon X/Y 1.2 update that encrypts Wondertrade communications.

Maybe, just maybe what nintendo could instead do is release tools for you to edit your save anyways. Simply, all you'll have is a mark saying "hacked" or something. I wouldn't give a flying fuck.
