Nothing significant.
While looking for the sages you end up in locations like the ruin where Volcrona is and such.
But thats about it. 7 Sages? As far as I know you can find 6 and the Shadow ninjas says that Ghetsis dissapeard.

i only found 2. i didn't do any part of the story after that. just collecting some more cute pokes. it was lost in the route 18(i think) the place where there were a lot of currents.
