Homebrew Pokemon sun issue

I am trying to trade with my friend on sun and I am having a issue where no one is showing up I am not banned as I can still wonder trade and Gts trade just fine can anyone help me
New 3ds 11.4 Luma CFW

If you can connect to the Nintendo Network and go into the GTS and WT lobbies you are not banned.

Not what I meant.
On the home screen of Pokemon Sun or Moon if the game has an update installed it will list a game version.
The latest version is 1.2. Make sure both have the same version.

As for the Wi-Fi, the consoles don't have to connected to the internet if you want to have local play, they just need the Wi-Fi turned on.
The system will switch the mode to adhoc for local play if that's what you are trying to do.

GTS & WT can use local Wi-Fi. In your first post you said you are on 11.4 ( on at least on system )
This system can't connect to the Nintendo Network as you need 11.5 to do that ( in most cases )
I have to say it's most likely just a mismatch game version, disabled Wi-Fi or as @Quantumcat said mismatched game or system region.

If this still doesn't work I'm out of ideas, Good Luck.

Is he going online.... You have no idea how many times ppl just goto the plaza and dont connect online

He might not be going online but you do have to select GTS or WT to actually enable adhoc wireless mode.

Yeah. It even warns you when you disable it. I'm sure most people just zoomed through it though with the recent ban wave and all the speculation that was behind it in order to not get banned.

I dont think thats correct i have it diasbled and i do pokemon giveaways. I have no issue adding ppl to trade with and them finding me.

It's not an issue of adding people. If you have title sharing disabled then people on your friend list can't join your games and vice versa.
