We can't use pkhex to edit s/m demo

so is there other way to check save?
Can this demo help devs making a updated version of pkhex for gen7?

2. Depends if they keep the same format (which they most likely will) but there will be differences.

They already said that PK6 and PK7 files are very similar. PKhex needs to be updated for Gen 7 to work, which won't happen until when the game comes out.

I doubt a save editor for the Demo would work.

As I tested here,

a "walk through wall" code was created, and I used it to catch Pokemon and escape to the Pokemon center, and managed to save the game.

When the save reloaded, the other Pokemon were gone.

The demo probably was programmed to reload Greninja and the items; the Super Potion seems to reappear, despite being used.

I've contacted the author of PKHEX. He/she's working on this. It's said that Gen 7 implements the RSA encryption.

You should blame Nintendo cuz they're the ones who made Pokemon so popular.xD

It does do something with storing items. You'll always start with Poke Balls if you cleared the trial with some in your bag.

I should restart, steal Pokeballs, catch pokemon, and force the game to save as such.

Hopefully pkhex gets updated for the demo before the game comes out.We might also be able to inject them through a qr code if you have a way to downgrade your fw or ntr gets a plugin.

nope.

Not all data offsets are implemented, so even viewing will show you random crap,
but at least you now the pokemon are there.

(I compiled it myself too trollolol)
