ROM Hack Pokemon Sun and Moon Retail Card Error?

That's why I made a simple to follow guide to explain them. In fact, Luma3DS (for example) is made to be noob friendly and can even boot from the NAND.

Will just following this guide walk me through the process even if I don't have A9LH already installed? Because all I have ever used is Gateway 3ds.

Update your luma install. 5.5 and older don't work with sun/moon. Just download this zip and replace the arm9loaderhax.bin with the one in the zip https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases/download/v6.6/Luma3DSv6.6.7z

I was saying that I got it to work by updating my luma. Thanks though! Was just posting to hopefully help anyone else that had similar situation.

I got it to work on Gateway and on the latest Emunand by changing the Pokemon Sun.3ds card1 to card 2. Now the only question I have is it possible to switch it back and convert the save so I can import it into the retail cart?

Luma 6.6 works. I doesn't matter if menuhax or a9lh.

I could install Luma, but then again I also have retail pokemon X and pokemon AS, they had the old save encryption, and i dont really want to lose my savefile on those games; Is there any way I could run Luma sysnand on 11.2 and then load de old save encryption to play X and AS. Or should I wait for gateway their launcher.dat?

Worst case scenerio I guess I could get pokebank and tranfer all my X and AS pokemon and then update my sysnand (Hopefully using Luma) to 11.2.

You could use the free Pokebank alternative and save yourself some money.

Once I get my pc fixed I will come back here and follow this guide as I can't get sun and moon to work and I set up rx tools back in spring. But what I am wondering does anybody know if I were to buy the e-shop version of Pokémon sun would it still reboot the system or would I be able to play in the meantime while I fix my pc?

So I've been trying to go through the A9LH tutorial, but I'm stuck on the browser part. When I go to http://dukesrg.github.io/2xrsa.html?arm11.bin it just takes me to github and says "404 file not found". It's especially odd because I had it working once before I realized I forgot a file and exited. I've tried initializing save data and it still keeps giving me the "404 file not found" error. Does anyone have any tips for me?

Okay I got my pc up and running once it's all updated I will follow the guide but can someone tell me: I updated my emuNAND to the newest rx version which I've been told is bad. But I now I have access to my backups from back in march. Should I restore my NAND to the backup from back in march before I try to upgrade from rx tools to luma and a9lh or can I still do it with rx updated?

Have you tried using NTR save plugin? Do a search in google to find it. You use it to backup your 7.x- save and import to 7.x+

You can install a9lh + Luma + gateway with these guides. That way you can have sysnand 11.2 and emunand on whatever firmware

If you did move emunand all your games are on sysnand. If you didn't do it then hold select then power the 3ds on and turn off autoboot sysnand (you will boot emunand and from their you can update it)
