Rumors say you have to buy the new pokebank to get national pokedex. It's a built in feature on the new pokebank update in January.

I really like the RotomDex though...

Well that's weird. I mean I already have Pokebank so I'm good but still... So the FULL pokedex may or may not be a peripheral of the game and not in it itself. Awkward.

You get 10-20 points for each QR code you scan (which are on a timer, one scan every 20 minutes or so) once you scan 5-10 codes you have 100 points and can use island scan to scan the island you're on for pokemon not native to Aloha. It will show you a silhouette of the pokemon and where to catch it.

Thanks, so far i have seen people talking about Chikorita, Toto, etc. It could be any non alolan pokemon (Well, i think no legendaries) or popular ones like starter, etc?

Yeah I found Conkeldurr, Gotitlita, Tranquil, Chikorita and Totodile with the island scan so far.

There's only a specific set of pokemon for the island scan though. Only like 10-20 pokes, not all, unfortunately.

1% - 10% encounter rate too. Pool 4 has the 10% rate at both day/night for Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite.
