Hacking Pokemon SoulSilver/Black (S) Crashes

Hi i have a little brother that has a R4 and a Dsi and im here to ask if someone know´s why the following games crashes
>4833 - Pokemon - Edicion Plata SoulSilver (S)
>5597 - Pokemon - Edicion Negra (DSi Enhanced) (S)

He can play like 10 minutes but it crashes later its there any cheat to fix this or a patch if someone know i would be very happy

also his R4 is the following

I haven't personally tried this R4 but formatting with SD Formatter usually fixes problems like this.https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/
