Gaming Pokemon Soul Silver Save dissapered?

I got on pokemon soul silver and all of a sudden it pretended like it was my first time playing SS. I had a few backups of the save and they acted the same. And now my 4 hours of work, my hard earned japanese pcp received from serebii trading chat, and by first ever sucsessful pokeradar shiny phanpy are gone? Any known reason why/fix? The saves were still there and it didnt create a new one. Just random.

Well i got it to work but now this wont work.

The one i was talking about before was patched with the arm 7 thingy to help it save without crashing.
And I'm trying to transfer the save to the same game but patched with this http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=179118&hl= and with the english patch http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=177387&hl=

And when I boot it up it acts as if I'm playing it for the first time even though the save file from the other working game is there.

Any help?

try a new clean rom and do all the paching again

Its on m3 and when i patched it a diff way and put the english patch on it was a fresh rom.

I fixed it. It wouldnt take my save because of the save problem the i fixed that wasnt fixed on it due to it being a clean rom. So i put the arm 7 fix on it, put the english patch on and I'm set!
