ROM Hack Pokemon shining emerald

What happened to the old Ash vs. sprite? I thought that one looked better than the one with the release.

The old Vs sprite was the earliest one, I had made a much better one which looked excactly like the ash from kanto. But my computer deleted all my sprites etc. so i'm gonna have to redo them :/

You not recover them with recuva?

When I tried to recover them with recovery programs, it showed other files which i'd deleted, but not the "Shining Emerald" folder....

So I downloaded the rom and tried playing it. The games name on my R4 was Pok on Shining Emerald and when I tried to run it it said "Savefile not founded!" Do you have any idea why this might be?

I tested the game on my Dstti and it worked fine, does it give that error with the normal pokemon black/white rom?

I found the problem. I had to switch the name from Pokémon Shining Emerald to Pokemon Shining Emerald. I couldn't have to line over the e or it wouldn't work.

I'm going to start the LP. Hopefully you can get back into things and make some good progress. I won't go too far in, and when the newer version comes I'll just transfer the save and start from the newer version.

Once I re-insert the battle sprites I should be able to upload screenshots of the first gym and the battle, I Think I've found a way to get past they're being three people in that gym. Dunno how it'll turn out though..

You could just turn it into a triple battle.

I know I have not updated in a while. I've only been doing bits and pieces of text editing lately. But thankfully i've got a good amount of free time in November so i'll be able to make good progress. I've managed to find the Ash backsprite -

So i'll start of by putting that in then i'll do the rest of them... would anybody would like to help out with them? I'd speed up the process alot.

Yh the midi files is what i have, Im pritty sure i have all of them too, but i may be missing some battle frontier ones.

Emerald was definatly my favourite game too, so many good things in it, they didnt put in the others
and alas, its no good if im the only person involved whos alive as i just have the music.
