Just a minor note. If the SID is less than 4 digits, D2 will still display it as 4 digits, taking the missing ones from TID. It confused me the first time.
Why is everyone's response to something "it doesn't work" weird how it worked for hundreds of other people. Did you consider maybe YOU messed up?
With that I take my leave of GBAtemp until the next pokemon game comes. GOOD BYE FRIENDS.
P.S. read the first post if your codes "dont work"
its gonna stay eevee cuz they didnt read and picked eevee. Now the game gave them an eevee.
"the people making the codes dont know what they're doing" according to them

I had the Masterball code on at the same time as the Encounter Mod in order to catch myself a Mew. It was only *after* I caught a bunch of Eevees that were mysteriously holding Masterballs that I realised that perhaps that is how that code might work. Spawn Eevees holding those items.
After disabling the Masterball code then trying the Rare Candy code & getting the same result, it's obvious that those codes cause Eevees to spawn holding the item you want.
Although, I do have to admit, the amount of posts in this thread saying that certain codes don't do what they're supposed to is *astounding*. I've tried most of the codes On Violet 1.0.1 & can safely say that they work. I think people need to remember to A) turn OFF the codes you no longer need (i.e the Masterball code) and B), if the cheat files have a "RESTORE CODE", you need to use that after you turn off any of your cheats.
Furthermore, for that user who made his starters into Eevees... Perhaps start a new save & this time WAIT until you have your first starter pokemon & you're out in the wild on your own, before enabling cheats.
Ergo, I imagine if you have the 1st code enabled, your pokemon will just evolve into ONE of it's evolutions, such as Eevee may always evolve into Leafeon.
However with the 2nd code, Eevee would be forced to evolve into ANY of it's evolutions.
At least that's how I interpret the above quote. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Are there any codes to make TMs free to buy in the shop? Like makes the ingredients needed 0. I know there's a Pokemon move modifier code, but this would be easier.
I used the encounter code for the Herba Mystica ingredients and it worked just fine. The same goes for key items. I spawned an oinkologne holding a shiny charm and was able to take it and have it in bag like normal
