Do you need to beat the elite 4 before you can enter the inn at canaclave city and get darkrai?I have the members pass from the man in green, but I still can't get into the inn.

You need to get the National Dex i think. And yeah u need to beat the Elite 4. I think you need to complete the quest that involves Cressilia
