Is it possible to get the models textures changes using luma3ds? OK question repharsed, Is it possible to get this to work using cfw and luma3ds or does it only work with homebrew?

I'm confused. The creator of that one may mod was able to change the battle model of May successfully. But if I do anything, it turns into some crazy abomination thing. How would I go about fixing that?
