Don't know if this is the right place to ask, but anyone knows if there is a way to transfer a save file from a game that you have never played on switch? Like if I want Darkrai, but don't want to have to get BDSP, is there a way (except wait for pkhex or a code) to create a save file of BDSP by transfering one from people online who post them? I know we can transfer save files if we played the game, but is there something for games we never played?

I want to experience the whole Darkrai encounter myself, so transfering someone else's save file who already caught it won't help me.

do u just have to have a save file? or does it have to be at a certain spot in the game? because its just a couple of minutes to install the game, launch it, save, and then u have a save file.

Also, you can get a save from someone else, there is probably ones online already from some kind of save file database website/discord. but i think in order to restore it, u still have to install the game, launch it, save, then you can use jksv to copy over the save you found online. (However, i remember reading someone say, you just have to use a particular app to create folders with a certain titleID for bdsp games to get the legendaries for having letsgo/sword/shield saves).

i know i didnt give you anything conclusive, but maybe it might be enough info for you to find what ur looking for.

Does anyone know how to get any of the infinite item use codes to work on an emulator? I've tried Eiffel's and Kaito's and neither work. They work on the console but not with the emulator. My other codes all work fine on both.

Edit: I got it. For anyone else with the issue, those cheats can not be toggled. They have to be turned on BEFORE you open the game. Activating them in game does not work.

i dunno whos the owners of the PLA Checklist, but i managed to hit 29 pastures before i got a message saying my pastures are full and i cant throw any more pokeballs.

What im not sure of is if its tied to the number of stars i have, or if 29 pastures is the absolute max. I'm one star away from Max stars. might not be conclusive enough, but since its a working document, might be good to add this for now.

My stupid self decided to update now the moonjumping code won't work lmao. Was seriously so much fun. Hopefully a 1.1 version of it will come soon! Moonjumping on land with Basculegion and doing slowmo catching on pokemon that aren't meant to be caught that way... wayyyyyy too much fun.

can we get a resaerch task deleted cheat, somehow im soflocked on my save with magikarp having a research task at 99. i tried using the research task off cheat and it doesnt work and now i cant progress in the game, ive also tried using the pokedex completion but same thing i talk to the professor and game freezes

try save the game then reboot without cheats then talk to the professor and let it sit for 20 seconds for it to un softlock

I have 31 pastures accessible to me. I think you need at least one pokemon in each box to get the next box, then one in that box to get the next one after that.

many people have problems on yuzu where the game freezes or automatic crash at a certain point, not sure if the newest version fixed those problems or not

Yeah Yuzu will auto crash when you try to input a character name. Its been an issue ever since SMTV or atleast thats when I discovered it. I switched over to Ryu now b/c its works perfectly plus adding cheats to it is the same format as adding cheats to the switch.

I've seen that SciresM found spawn locations. Maybe it's easier to force purple ones to activate without the rift?
