I was wondering if anyone's experienced this issue, Pokemon HOME says that Pokemon Shield isn't on the latest version (which it is). I deleted my Shield save and started a new one, and HOME was able to transfer Pokemon (after receiving the Pokedex). Anyone have this issue? Is it a save version value stored in the actual save that I can edit?
I had the same issue. You need to open your sw/sh save file with the new updated game. Then save the game, then open Pokemon Home. This happens because you haven't saved the game since the new update
