Why make a new topic, so that a large topic (with lotsa spam, because that's inevitable) has YOUR name on it?
Every of these topics are the same and useless. Just wait till Xenophobia or someone like that makes a patch.

*edit*

I asked for this and was told that Xenophobia are reliable. But where do they get their roms from?

Memorable quotes from aang12 in the last thread:

If Nintendo would know this then there would be no Xenophobia ^^
Might be someone intern, or from a gamecompany, or just some random guy who buys games at the store and cracks them.

I made THREE points. Not just them being reliable. ONCE AGAIN:

This theory keeps getting brought up. Here's why it's wrong:

- Xenophobia is a very reliable release group.
- The same kind of AntiPiracy measures were present in the (J) rom.
- The rom works 100% fine on Acekards/etc, meaning it's a complete, working version of the game provided the AP is beaten.

Games are leaked before the actual release date all the time.

Why does a patch choose to walk but not to fly?

Because the patch had once said "Why fly when one can walk?"

And it was to be said by our forefathers to be passed down to our grand kids and to their grand kids and forever forward, that "The patch walks."

On my right hand, my ring finger is bigger, but on my left hand they are the same size.

I meant to post this in the other thread, but it got closed.

Remember WAY back in January(?) 2009 when Nintendo announced that they would put AP in games released "towards the end of this year"? People wondered if it would be in HG/SS.

Nintendo mentioned that the AP would cause a game to be corrupted because a flashcard needs to patch a ROM before it can actually run it, and this patching would corrupt the game.

I don't know if that last sentence is actually true, but if it is, that might explain why some flashcards (e.g. Acekard) can play HG/SS with few issues while others have major issues like black screens and freezing.
