ROM Hack Pokemon HG/SS, compatibility linker

I want to buy a new linker because I can't play pokemon HG/SS with my old M3 perfect SD.

What's the best linker to play without any problem like sav freeze or other at pokemon?

R4 will works with patch translation?

Just get the game there as the games freeze randomly on flashcarts even with all the latest patches.

I know the Cyclo DS works great for HG/SS.

get the dstt its very cheap and it has only frozen once from me on HG/SS and it runs at perfect speed

I'm using an R4i with a ROM that's both arm7 and Rudolph patched and it works fine.

I used to have DS-X back when Slot-1 flashcarts were still new.
After getting an R4 I've never had any problems until HG/SS.
HG/SS froze a lot before, but after applying the anti-piracy patch it ran with no problems whatsoever.

I have a DS TT with the latest firmware and the game crashes on me like crazy. How many badges have you gotten?
