I'm planing to hex edit various pkm save files at various stages to try and figure out what the offsets are for many things. Mostly I want to figure out which hex offset is responsible for keeping track of which pkm that are caught/seen. Are there tools that I can use to easily compare differences between hex files, maybe something similar to the the attached img.

yea. have two copys of the same save. edit one with a save editor to fill out the pokedex one pokemon at a time. then compare them each time to find the offsets.
