Pokemon ds fast foward cheat on console?

I remember seeeing somewhere and even using myself a cheat that speeds up the clock of the Pokemon DS games, effectively making it a fast forward on real consoles,of course it only worked on 3ds and maybe dsi(I tested it on 3ds) but I ended up loosing my SD card and with it the cheat file,so of anyone can help me confirm that it's real or I'm having fake memories I would be really glad.

Well, you can really speed up a DS with the GBAccelerator-DS or the XCM Hyper Gear

But yes, what you're asking for does exist, it's called High Speed Processing and it works on all consoles, because it just turns off the artificial speed limit in the game (I see it's available for Platinum USA rev 1 at least)

You can enable TWL speed on the 3DS in TWiLight Menu, but that mostly only just improves save/load times.

I use type 2 and it works
It doesn't change much while walking around but animations like the selected pokemon bouncing up and down, or actual attacks, seem to be at give or take 3x speed...

You can use a hex editor, such as HxD, to open one of the appropriate Generation IV Pokémon games, then go to the mentioned values in the ROM.:

Pokémon Diamond/Pearl: 0x4DB0 (00004DB0)
Pokémon Platinum: 0x4DF8 (00004DF8)
Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver: 0x4E28 (00004E28)

Once there, you will know you are in the right place when you see the values "25 63". Change this to "00 00" and save it.
