I've been away from the gbatemp/nds community for a while. Anyways, I'm trying to play pokemon black (USA) with DSTT and retrogamefan update v6.59. Do I need the patched or the clean pokemon black (usa) rom to play flawlessly? Thanks.

Use the clean rom. Both work fine, but the clean one's always better.
