My advice is to try a few different SD cards, as my results indicate that only 1 of my 3 cards will run the game at proper speeds.

It was downloaded this way. I did nothing to the rom. Are you saying whoever uploaded the rom patched it wrong?

Hmmm, you say there's some noise... But does the game work? Well I just downloaded the clean rom then ap patched it then exported, renamed and pasted it... *BREATHES*
Did you download the patched rom or clean?

Updated the OP with what people have given me.
Anyone else wanna tell me what they have it working with?
DSTWO EOS 1.11
Firmware 1.18
Clean ROM
Works but occasionally freezes. No EXP glitches. The biggest problem I've noticed is if you check your party from the pause menu, then try to back out, it will freeze on a black screen.

ONLY WORKS ON PATCH MODE!

Yeah, so where's the patch for it?
"Patch Mode" is a feature in the options menu of the DSTWO. There's also "Clean Mode". Patch Mode allows you to use features, such as real-time save, cheats, and slow-motion by pressing the hotkey. It has nothing to do with whether a ROM was patched or not.

B2/W2 do NOT work on "Clean Mode" on the DSTWO.
B2/W2 PARTIALLY work on "Patch Mode" on the DSTWO.

AP stands for anti-piracy.
As far as I know, the AP patches for Black 2 and White 2 will cause the games to freeze when loading on the DSTWO.

All we can do is wait for an upgrade to the EOS that will fix the remaining AP problems encountered, such as screens freezing after viewing your party.

Sigh... I already mentioned that I patched it
AND IT WORKS!!

I'm still a bit worried. Anyone tested the actual retail copy on another region DSi/3DS? My local game store has no guarantees.

Yes I said I downloaded it patched. Also it says on the front page that DStwo is "confirmed" to work so I assumed everything was ok.

I'm attempting to play Pokemon White 2 on my SuperCard DStwo. The rom I have is a patched rom and I am running in patched mode, however after I get past the start screen with Reshiram both screens go black and I hear some choppy sound.

I already updated my SuperCard DStwo to 1.18 and the OS is updated as well. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe when patching an error occurred?

Since you used an AP patch, try using "Clean Mode"' just to see what happens.

Be sure it was patched for the DSTWO. There are multiple AP patches out there and only one of them works on the DSTWO, I believe.

If you can't find it, then you need to play a clean ROM on Patch Mode until the EOS is updated, or a new patch is released.

@ chris:

Starting with the release of the Nintendo DSi™ consoles, new features have been implemented into handheld consoles from Nintendo™. Unlike most predecessors, the DSi (in all variants, including XL/LL versions) support region locks for game cartridge playback.

Since Nintendo DS™ and Nintendo DSi™ games are mostly also running on the other system, finding out which game runs on what system may become a bit more complicated.

Nintendo DS™ means the models "DS" and "DS lite".
Nintendo DSi™ means the models "DSi", "DSi XL" and "DSi LL"
  • Nintendo DS™ games
    • Work on all Nintendo DS™ consoles, regardless of territory
    • Work on all Nintendo DSi™ consoles, regardless of territory
  • Nintendo DS™ (DSi Enhanced) games
    • Work on all Nintendo DS™ consoles regardless of territory but will not offer "DSi Enhanced" features.
    • May not work on Nintendo DSi™ consoles from different territories
They say in play asia it is region locked: http://www.play-asia.com/Pokemon_Black_Version_2/paOS-13-71-ba-49-en-70-4lbf.html

"'DSi Enhanced' titles are usually region locked on DSi Consoles."
(Key word being "Usually")

As the game ID for White 2 is IRDO, it is not Region locked.
Had it been region locked, the game ID would have been IRDE.

Haha I get it now. Thanks! Now I can buy in peace.
