ROM Hack Pokemon Black and White Problem

So yesterday me and my cousin were gonna battle using infrared....
But for some reason the battle on infrared doesnt work and Dream World and Friend Code (Not using Pal Pad)
Its so wierd I dont know the reason why though
This is the only things that happened to me everything else is perfect....
I am using AKAIO 1.8.1 and a CLEAN Black rom
Is there a patch for this or something???
I really need help

Infrared doesn't work on roms because the infrared transmitter is built into the real game cartridge.

you can still use the union room to battle though, because the union room uses wireless, not infrared.
