Hacking Pokemon Battle Revolution Compatibility

Anyone know if diamond/pearl us would have issues talking to a PAL pbr on the wii?

To my knowledge, DS games are region free so I don't see why they wouldn't work on a PAL wii.

Well, I was refering to using a US (actual cart) Diamond / pearl with a US wii running a backup of PAL Battle Revolution....

The systems arent the issue I think i might see, the games region differences are what cause me to question the compatibility.

Well ive tried with my CycloDS Evolution with a USA Pokemon Pearl/Diamond and a PAL Pokemon Battle Revolution. All i did get was communication error.

I'm just curious, why would you want to run PAL PBR on an US wii in the first place? Just use the US version, that should work fine

Well I'd have assumed the European and Australian version of PBR would be identical as most PAL games are all the same, no variations. Then factor in that the dump of an Australian Pokemon D/P is IIRC identical to its US counterpart, its odd that it wouldn't work on PBR.
