He's a loser now. He doesn't accept any of my codes, he goes around pretending to be awesome, and didn't add my R4 codelist that added a folder for every 200 codes.
You deserve becomming staff more than him. At least your update was honest and didn't make bullshit excuses like "the power was out"
I saw Narin on other forums in that period of time.
He used to be cool. He even cheated online at AW

oR, but wouldn't face my REAL savefile online.
Then he blocked my PM's
Good to have you back though!
Why change the title to cheat master? noob-hunter was better!
Wabsta, thanks! I managed to attract some noobas to the forums!

I like how you make up stuff about me, thanks, I really appreciate it. Perhaps I should just stop maintaining the cheat database which I do almost daily for al of you and see who will come and see if anyone will do as I did and scour the internet for cheats daily, create new cheats, fix broken cheats and translate cheats from Codebreaker format and from different languages for 8 different cheat database formats. Its not easy work you know, I spend around 1-4 hours a day on the cheat database for all of you.
Also I don't pretend to be awesome nor do I go around acting like I'm awesome. If people think I'm awesome, thats their own opinion. I simply updat the cheat database in honor of Rayder to keep his legacy alive. I hardly ever use cheats myself, the only cheats I really use are the backlight cheats. I update the cheat database for the community, not myself.
I have a life you know, I don't eat and breath GBAtemp or the cheat database. I have a very physically exhaustive day job. I work in construction 5-6 days a week from any wheres 8-10 hours a day doing physical labor. You try working 10 hours outside in the sun, in 90-100 degree, high humidity weather and see if you have the energy to reply to everyone. I really do try to make a response to everyone, I get on average 10-15 PMs a day as well as all the responses I get in the cheat database. On top of that, lately after work, I have been watching my 4 year old nephew while my sister goes to school and work. Thankfully, she will be graduating soon so I don't have to watch the kid as much anymore.
Also dude, I didn't lie about my power going out. Think, do you think the cable company would do nothing but sit around for a week before fixing the lines? They were working on them through out the week. I hand power and internet access intermittently through out the week for short periods of the time as they were workig on the line. During this time, I tried to get online here on GBAtemp and perhaps make a quick update before my power went out again. I only had 5-10 minute windows during this time. If you ask anyone who ever had their power go out for extended periods of time, they will tell you that it would intermittently flicker on and off before finally coming back online again.
Also another lie right there, we have never played a game on WiFi together, so how would you know if I cheated or not? Do you want to know why I haven't played n WiFi with you? Because I''m a busy person. I don't use my Nintendo DS often, I tend to go weeks at a time not being able to play it due to something else taking up my time. I have a life, I have a day job which pays the bill and I have my job here on GBAtemp as well tot take care of. Also for the record, I have never cheated online in my entire life. Hell, the only game I have ever played online was Jump Ultimate Stars, which I only did for one night against Wilddenim. I just haven't had the time to play against others online also on top of that, online play doesn't really interest me much.
Also for the record, I did check out your codelist and the reason why I didn't add it at the time because it was poorly formatted, had redundant code and some of the codes were broken and wrong. I do apologize for not replying to you concerning the codelist so you could fix them up, but I was busy at the time and it slipped my mind. I try to add in every code I can, sometimes theres some that need work or some I accidentally overlook so I apologize for that. I do try my best, but I'm just one person. I literally get hundreds of requests a day from people PMing me, posting them, messaging me them on AIM or such, PMing them over IRC and so on. So I ask people that if I miss something, please remind me so I can look into the matter.

<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You funny.
Narin does a hell of a lot more than just maintaining the database, lol.
What's Narin's title? Technician. Not "Cheatmaster". Not "Cheat Maintainer".
Technician.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
...
Umm...
has Narin actually done any modifications?
are there any other technicians?
He's just that cause magazine staff didn't fit him.
Also his TITLE is Cheat Master, its his job thats technician.
Moving On...
I FAILED! THE SAVE CURROPTED!
So back to square one...
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Also you are wrong again, I did not become staff because of the cheat database. Hell, the job Technician has nothing to do with the cheats. So maintaining the cheats is just a side project of mine separate from my duties as technician. Costello hired me due to my technical skills and experience with programming and web design. At the time he was the only person who actively maintained GBAtemp and well, it was a lot of work. So I was hired on to help him out especially when he was away for a month and busy as he is now. If the server breaks or runs into a problem, its my job to fix it.
The reason why you don't see much of my work is due to much of it is behind the scenes work, bug fixes, optimization, tweaking of the setting to handle the pressure under heavy load better. I literally go through thousands upon thousands of lines a code a day on GBAtemp to track down bugs and fix them. I have fixed many of them, including exploits that allowed members to see hidden/trashed posts, polls being deleted when people posted on them and many others. Basically its my job to make sure the server is running smoothly to help take the load off Costello.
lso for your information, I'm in the current process of updating the forums to the latest version and adding in all the bug fixes and optimizations since the latest release. This has to be all dne <b>manually</b>. The forums are heavily modified and contains many updates and mods to make the forum what is is today. So its not the simple process of copy and pasting the new files over. I have to go through each one and manually make all the updates to the existing files manually and theres well over 200 files. This doesn't include the hundreds of template edits I will have to manually add as well as well as updating the database data as well.

At any rate, I want to apologize if I came off as a bit harsh, I had a very long day and reading the accusations against me above just put me in a bad mood. I do put a lot of time and effort into the cheats and GBAtemp which I could be using to do something else like actually taking a break and actually relax instead of going to work on 4-6 hours of sleep. The reason why I do it is because I love GBAtemp, its a great community and I want to be a part of it and help everyone else.
This post was more about letting out some steam and letting you all know, I do a lot more around GBAtemp than just the cheats though a lot of my work goes unrecognized due to the nature of it. Once again, I apologize if I offended anyone or came across a bit harsh.
Also Antoligy, I don't hate you nor do I dislike you. If anything, I consider you a bit of a friend, I do know you were just trying to help out and I apologize if I wasn't that helpful myself, I really didn't mean to look as if I was ignoring you. At any rate, please feel free to PM me your codelist and also those Metroid Prime Codes you said worked over WiFi. Not all of them do, I did test some of them when I played the game a while back and the ones I tested only worked on single player but I didn't test them all. Its why I ask you if you could specifically tell me exactly what cheats worked over WiFi, all you told me in reponse that the colors one did and just about all of them which wasn't to helpful. I just haven't had the chance to test them all to find out which ones work on WiFi or not.
