Hacking Point A resistor damaged

After completing the installation of the modchip, I accidentally tugged on the Point A cable, while attempting to reattach the cable i heated the resistor too much, and it came off. Look at pictures for reference. I just bought the replacement resistor 0201 4.7k ohms. I was reading this post but, what happens if i cannot successfully attach a new resitor. Also any tips on how i can replace the resistor. I was suggesting using a hot air rework station but I cannot find a small enough nozzle. Here is the old post that guided me.

if you have large tip which could melt both top and bottom point, you could just slide new resistor into position when both pads is liquefied
