I have been trying for months watching videos reading forums trying tinfoil trying goldleaf etc.....

As far as I can get is with Zadig showing the Switch as APX and installing the libusbk driver. But then when I try to install anything then NOTHING will detect my Switch.

The only thing I can think of that might be the problem is my usbc cable, a generic one I got with a used pro controller, or Im just an idiot and not "getting" something.

Ive also tried every usb port on my pc.

Also when its connected to my pc I will get an alternating message of charging/unable to charge in the top left corner of the screen on switch.....what does that mean?

Im going to try to get a different cable today.

Ive tried doing the usb_install_pc.py in cmd but it always says something like "cant find switch."
Do you have Python and PyUSB installed? You need those in addition to libusbK (Zadig).

I've always had the best luck using Aluminum Foil it's also the easiest to use IMO.

Especially for multiple nsps you just right click and copy the link to the folder that has your nsps and open aluminum foil (you don't have to type anything) then just paste it in the cmd then you just hit space bar and arrow down to select all the nsps, then back in tinfoil on your switch you install and hit x on all the nsps. Then they install and you're done.

I watched that yesterday, but my problem is I cant even get my pc to really detect my Switch.

Can you charge your Switch via usbc on a PC? Because mine will first say "charging" and then goes to "unable to charge."

the isy iuc 3000 cable i've got here is working.

switch will charge normally when connected.

I'm almost sure this is a cable issue

I know this sounds crazy but it sometimes matters which way your wire is inserted...
I have a few things that use the usb-c cord and I find that sometimes if it doesn't work take it out and
turn it around and put it in the other way. I don't understand why this is, it really shouldn't matter but in some cases it does. Let me know if you get it working.

Small problem....

While installing an update for Doom the progress has stopped at 99% and 0.00mb/s.......help?
