Misc Please read. Wifi download play troubles

Hey,

I own a ds lite and am using supercard (sd) with Max Media Launcher.

I noticed a problem when I was playing some games with my friends via download play and certain games would freeze for them. My ds would label as (paraphrasing) "Ds players disconnected please move closer to friends ds".

So some games freeze when my friends are trying to download games from my ds and some dont. It would start to download and then after a few seconds would begin to boot for the game and then it stops. very odd.

The ones that froze were

New super mario bros
Mario kart
Worms

when they have their own cart it works just fine. has anybody came across this issue before?

you should have checked "NDS - Flashing Hardware and Software" forum section, as this is a problem with the supercards and m3.
Download play doesnt work for everyone, some work, others dont. BUT if all players have the game, then everything should work just fine.

Another note... it just has been one hour since you posted(even less), dont be hasty. Use Search instead.

Nothing is wrong with my hardware, but i guess ill make a post over in that part also to be safe. I wasnt being hasty I was just making sure no one needed any other information that I didnt provide

When you say Download play doesnt work for everyone are you saying just back-ups? or just in general? Why wouldnt it work, shouldnt download play work for ever DS? I understand that if the players have the game its fine the point is not all my friends have the same games as me so download play is our only choice.

-I did use search posting is always a last resort for me.

There are problems with DS download play on SC and M3 cards. This is a combination of different things:

the passme device
the flash card itself
the SD/MMC/CF card brand
flashme/no flashme

Noone fully understand why some combinations work and some doesnt.

Okay so what your saying is I am not doing anything wrong its just the backup hardware is not fully compatible with all the features of every game?

I feel relieved and dissapointed at the same time.

i got really mad because of this on my Supercard when i couldn't DL play with a friends DS but just tell your friend to not be cheap and buy it

Has anyone confirmed it is the M3/SuperCard Hardware and not the ROM or anything else?
