Hacking Please help me run GBA games on Gateway

I've literally spent 6 hours trying to get this to work and I'm stumped. I've read every thread on the internet.

-I've got gateway and rxtools 2.5
-sysNand and emuNand are unlinked
-I can't get rxtools to inject FBI into health and safety
-I've installed Gba cia's on the Gateway emunand but they don't run
-I have AGB installed

I think I have to install the cia's to the sysNAND but I don't know how to do that because FBI won't work. Please help.

dude go into gateways sysnand mode.
get to the gateway menu press a+b on the launch menu and then press x
then select your devmenu .3ds file and boom you can installl shit to sysnand

Relax, friend.
You don't need to inject anything anywhere. You can use Gateway on sysNAND.
So on your Gateway microSD you can have the FBI.3ds (or Big Blue Menu), and with it you can install your GBA roms on sysNAND.
Personally, I don't even bother installing the ROMs on emuNAND after that, cause I'd be wasting double the space. Just be careful what CIA you install on sysNAND, because it's always a risk to do so.

Make sure to get you patched agb firm or else your gba games will not load. Also, use rxtools 3.0b2. It makes life easier for all this stuff since it has pasta mode(sig patched sysnand to install all your gba and patched agb firm).

why would you make him use a shitty CFW when he has the godly gateway emunand

Alright so I launched it in sysNAND and installed the cia's. They still don't run in either sysNAND or emunand though.

make sure to have agb patch firmware installed to nand, you'll need to use fbi to do that

but as mentioned above it might be worth upgrading your rxtools which includes the patches automatically

How do I update rxtools and install fbi? I downloaded the latest version (3.0) and replaced all the files but it still loads as 2.5

you can run fbi.3ds on the gateway

for rxtools you will need to read a guide here on gbatemp as it has a different layout from 2.5 and needs different entry points. ie different address if loading from browser or different code.bin/mset for profile loading

Yeah, as rasputin said, use rxTools for GBA games. Gateway doesn't support playing GBA games right now anyways.

I've installed the patched AGB firm on my new 3ds SysNAND and Emunand I'm running ReiNand but every time I boot a GBA game I get an error has occurred turn off system screen, any ideas why this is happening?

Dont know if it is the same as the DSi Post I read earlier, but you might need to Install the GBA Game on BOTH SysNAND and EmuNAND. Have not tried it yet
