Akin to the project made by krishty for Ace Combat 3 (and now 2), I'd like to discuss ways to extract models, audio and video files, as well as textures from the Ace Combat trilogy for the PlayStation 2.
On Moddb you can find some tools to extract audio and video from Ace Combat Zero, leading to the discovery of some odd and unused audio clips;
On Github there's a similar tool but only for Ace Combat 5's audio files, no videos (at least some love for AC5, since it went from being the most loved to the most hated of the trilogy);
While for Ace Combat 4 there is a tool that is gone FUBAR and doesn't work anymore. It was supposedly compatible with all 3 games, but, really, it doesn't work. This is how the model looks after extraction:

This was supposed to be the F-4 from Ace Combat 4. I know someone on ModDB shared a pack with RIPPED models from Ace Combat Zero, but those are ripped and have all sorts of issues. All I wanna do is simply recreate some missions using the original assets on blender, but it's getting demoralizing seeing that there's nobody even discussion decompiling/extracting stuff from these games. And the few tools that are there, are either broken (Ac4analysis) or incomplete (acecombat ripper only takes out audio files, while the moddb tool for acz takes both audio and video files. of course, Ace Combat 5's files and Ace Combat Zero's aren't interchangeable.)

So, what I'm getting here is that there's an incredible lack of interest in getting assets, audio and videos from these three games, and I'd like some help figuring out how to extract the 3D models for Planes and Levels, as well as extracting the audio files.
I doubt namco cares if someone takes out a model from a PlayStation 2 game from 23 (2001), 20 (2004, happy 20th WaitingCombat 5) and 18 (2006) years ago.

PS: The leftover audio in Ace Combat 5 hinted at a more direct way of controlling your wingmen. Apparently you could tell them to stuck to the objective instead of going shopping. And another thing is how the audio were flattened into a single audio files in Ace Combat Zero, compared to Ace Combat 5 which has lots of Background lines that play overlayed with Foreground audio.
(For example: Ac5's Final mission, take off scene: There's the control tower saying "Your final sortie," but there's also 2/3 audio lines for ambient noise, including one that say "This place won't make it into history books, sorry")
Also, ace combat 5's Japanese release has two audio tracks, one for Japanese audio and one for English audio, the main difference between the Japanese release and the other versions was that Blaze's nickname went from "Booby" (jp) to "Kid" (ntsc/world), but the japanese version has radio chatter referring to blaze as "Kid", As well as "Booby".
