attack!:

well lets start: this is an official remake from pokemon silver and heart gold. Ill start with the music in 1 word wow its very impressive for me that a pokemon game this kind of sounds! that the most impresive of this game, sounds from pokemon are just simple and good as normal. only the pkmn center is irritating now there are much new things in this game like poke walker and safari zone and much more!

gameplay:
very simple controls including touch controls!(very handy) its easy to play for young kids when it is out in english, now there are allredy some translations but for now lest hold it in jap.! just try it then youll see its an good game!

pirating guys:
the game freezes so youll need an patch!

time of playing:
total new adventure it gave me bout 20 hours before I did defeat the pkmn legaue... and for the rest its hard to complete your desk, to ind the legends so there is so much to do! I think it´ll give me 40 ours of gameplay before I defeat red! and its fun to replay something like gyms ect. so this is very good

graphics:
very good that 3d things are good! and everything looks fres so that very good!

music: wat I telled above its very good ecxept the pkmn center music that irritats me!

money:
bout $50 thats good for an game+pokewalker and my advice buy it in real not in rom version!

conclusion:
this game is very good ecxept some things but youll see it by yourself!

score:
8.5

+ everyone who likes pkmn likes this
english translation has started!

- not everyone likes pkmn its a bit childish
late relase in euro/america

srry for the big pics!

Nice review Sephiran! Those images are the unofficial English translation of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

I won't play this game due to anti-piracy measures.

For a first review, this is quite good! You could still work on some points, like a better lay-out or a bit more info on the game, but I like it.

Nice review. Simple to read, and relatively easy to understand. Good Job!
One suggestion for you (something my father told me when I started writing manga reviews) is that you should type the whole review out on word or something, then edit it to your liking before you post it, because that will cut down on the spelling and grammar errors as well as being easier to play arround with the structure of the review.
Very good job for a first review though!

Ive played a little of this game, a patched Rom obviously, but only for the sake of "seeing what its like"
the review could of gone into a bit more detail. pointed out some obvious changes, like the fact your pokemon follow you around like in Pokemon Yellow.

I would of went into more detail about what exactly was bad about the game.

For me its the same with all pokemon games, the battle systems unchanged if not only adapted to the DS touch Function, It would of been nice if they offered some more RPG like qualitys to your character on the game. A little customization here and there. More control over your pokemons growth stats would be nice too, Selecting what gets which points upon level could add a more robust "pokemon Team" when your battling your friends, which seems more down to Move choice and order if your around a simular level.

Id also have liked to have seen an improvement on the 4 moves per pokemon thing that has always been my main hate concerning the pokemon games.

What do you guys think?

I agree to the moveset. I want to have more than 4 moves at once...

Selecting which points to level up would remove the "uniqueness" of every Pokemon, as every Pokemon and their stats would be what you choose. Having more than four moves at once would be ridiculous, since it'll take away the "strategy" part of the game. What would be the fun in having a Pokemon that can nail everything in the game in one hit nearly everything in the game AND buff itself AND its teammates? Pokemon is all about strategy, and winning within the restrictions they give you. Not only that, but you have to find the best Pokemon to suit your needs. And don't forget, Pokemon is a competitive game too. All strategy would probably go to hell if growth stats and over 4 moves were included in future Pokemon installments.

Besides, you can somewhat control your Pokemon growth stats. Look up EVs, IVs, and Natures.

I strictly meant only having more moves. I think five or six would be fair.
