Hello so I’m having trouble with my pkhex. When I customize my pokemon and save it to my game file it doesn’t save to my game. I’m wondering why that’s happening and I was needing some help? I tried replacing the backup with the custom save file but it never works and I don’t exactly know why it’s for scarlet. If anyone could please help it would be much appreciated.

How do you do that? And it worked on my pokemon violet all I did was make another backup from checkpoint and it worked but it’s not working for scarlet and PLA

Make sure you have a save for Scarlet and PLA. on your system, the same way you backup with checkpoint the same you inject it with checkpoint.

Yes I do I have a backup save for both games and saved in game as well just not exactly sure why it’s not working. Would it be because the backup is from an old save and I would have to make a new backup with each save?

For PLA it’s a fresh save and I haven’t progressed or made another save but it also doesn’t show the backup file like it does for scarlet and violet

For PLA the file name is main but it doesn’t show the backup file. For scarlet it shows backup, main and main 2 but when I try to customize those saves they don’t work

I made a backup for PLA too tho but it doesn’t show

There’s your problem, your modified save is “main 2”.

When you copied the modified save back you would have been given the option to replace the original “main“ or reneme the modified file, and you selected rename.

Delete the file named “main” and then rename “main 2” to “main”.

okay so what about the backup file for scarlet? Do I need to save it to backup or the main file? As well as PLA I don’t even have a backup file it’s just the main file and even then when I save it it still doesn’t work. For PLA I made a backup but the issue is is that it never shows

Actually it’s scarlet that has the files backup, main and poketrade. I’m confused on if I should save to the main file or the backup and idk what the heck poketrade file is
