Hacking Pkg2 error - have tried everything

So I started getting a "pkg2 decryption failed, failed to launch hos" error quite randomly (I can't think of anything that may have triggered it). Tried cleaning my SD card and using all the newest Kosmos files. Didn't work, so I cleaned again and used just Atmosphere. I use exFAT, so I thought maybe something got corrupted. I restored my clean NAND backup (including BOOT0 and BOOT1) from before hacking my Switch. Then, since my fuses are burnt, I tried to boot into CFW using Hekate. Same error. Then tried to boot into stock using Hekate (couldn't boot directly because of mismatched fuse count). Got the same pkg error. What should I do?

Format the SD card to FAT32.

I just got to this point about 23:30 last night, so I went to bed. Probably wont get the chance to try it, for a couple days. My question is, Do I just backup the files on the current exfat card, guiformat it to FAT32, and then put the files back onto it?

ill try it, and let you know how it goes. @magico29 has been a solid help to me getting this far on this Switch, and we both are stuck ftm until I can manage to work on it. Always seems I pick up hobbies that have some steep learning curves.

I just now thought of this, but there are currently seven masterkeys_xx in the keys.txt file that I have found, but I was only told to use up the 5th when creating a NX510 firmware with ChoiDujour. Could this be a problem?

It should not. Worst case scenario is that ChoiDujour will warn but not error out due to the extra keys.

Roger that, thanks. Then the NX510 fw should not be the problem, since no errors occurred during the build.

He knows that, because we did that process and has been completed. If any wrong keys on the keys.txt choidujour.exe wont complete the process via cmd.

It won't complain if the keys are not needed which is where the warnings come into play. I'm also not sure why you're responding to me since he was the one that asked the question and not me.

If I want to use something different for a different application, I can just pull out the SD after shutdown, and swap in a different card. What if I setup a separate SDcard format FAT32 with the same files as the card format exfat that I have now in the Switch? Are cards exchangeable if setup for the specific firmware on the Switch?

Yes you could do that, as soon as you have necessary files on it.

SD cards are not tied to the firmware of the Switch in any way, shape, or form.
