Hi,
I'm trying to translate on Windows 10 Pokémon Omega Sapphire via pk3DS.

Here are my steps:
1) I have a file sapphire.cia. I extract it via HackingToolkit9DS.
2) I open the extracted files via pk3DS and change text. I rebuild it via pk3DS to sapphire.3ds.
3) Then via 3DS Simple CIA converter I convert sapphire.3ds to sapphire_final.cia.

Why I'm not using HackingToolikt9DS for rebulding it back in steps 2b and 3? Because from some reason it doesn't work; it writes me, that I don't have ucrtbased.dll and vcruntime140.dll. I googled it and it doesn't work more users - so I tried the steps above - and it works, BUT: now - when I open sapphire_final.cia in emulator Citra, everything works. But when I install it on my 3DS console, the game is running properly, but without any text changes (I even tried to change language to german, etc.) Before this test I uninstalled previous "original" Pokémon Omega Sapphire from the console.

Don't you have please some advice, what to do?

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    @SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
