ROM Hack [pk3DS]Why does not work game text hack ?

I am using layeredfs to hack rom.
My Alpha sapphire updated to 1.4.
I made layeredfs from decrypted update patche's exefs. gudenaurock's Tutorial
Edited story text is working well. But edited game text doesnt work.
Why?

remove any installed patches, they overwrite whatever content is installed / on the 'cart'.
