ROM Hack Pk3ds Not Loading .3ds ROMS?

When I go to select the folder the ROM is in, Pk3ds doesnt register it

That is because you do not five it a rom you give it a folder that has exefs and romfs folders. see here pk3DS: XY/ORAS ROM Editor & Randomizer

Also there are tons of thread explaining how to get those folders extracted here if you look around
