Hacking Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney problem

Hi, I have pretty much had no problems with my AK2 so far, but I recently ran into a "odd" one

whilst playing "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" after saving completed chapter data before a court appearance the top screen will change to the next one, but the bottom one will just stay as a red "save" box, so I cannot continue. to continue i have to turn off my ds, turn it back on again, and load the save i just made, and the game works fine again.

does anyone know how to fix this problem?

i am using the latest official firmware.

download the AKAIO it should fix it

I've never heard of this issue, so I'm not sure AKAIO will fix it. One thing you can try very easily: hold the A button while loading the game. It uses an older engine (on which AKAIO is based), and it might fix the problem.

holding the A button appears to fix the problem, although it makes the save box flicker whilst saving, no other ill effects seem to happen.
