Honestly, is anyone else completely ecstatic for ALL the Japanese releases by the end of this year?!? Not only RPG overload, but MAJOR BIG-NAME RPG OVERLOAD.

I'm seeing a copious lack of red robot here. How can you call it Zero when you don't have Zero in it?!

That aside, I've never really played any PS games, and PSU was my first exposure to it (take your jaws off the floor, it's unbecoming of you all). I may try the others sometime.

is this the same phantasy star on the sega genesis? if so i'm over joyed. i played phantasy star 4, on my sega genesis emulator (for ds), and it was one of the best rpg's i've ever played. that was when i finally realized that graphics is not everything. GAMEPLAY MATTERS.

Man I hope this is a MMORPG like PSO was on Dreamcast and Gamecube. Even if is has less stages. With the same addicting formula and some kinda friend list within the game. Bring back the red boxes lol!!!

i think it's called zero because it will play before phantasy star 1
i played some phantasy star 1, 2, and 3 on my GBA (phantasy star collection GBA, an official emulated version of all 3 original phantasy star games)

also, why do you guys keep calling PSO the original phantasy star? the original phantasy star didn't even have multiplayer functions.

lol! it aint called zero because its a prequel. This game looks it belongs to the pso and psu family. this has nothing to do with the originals phantasy star games.

Wow, the screenshots are really impressive.. I'm definitely going to purchase this to support them. It just looks awesome already. I never got to play a phantasy star game though.. unfortunealty. But I will definitely not miss out this chance.
