Phantasy Star Portable, which is gonna be the new multiplayer giant and closest thing to Phantasy Star Universe. It's coming out March 3rd.

IGN doesn't list too much info on this 'cept screenies (Clicky), but there's a lot of footage on Youtube.

Phantasy Star is like Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star Online/Universe/Portable are action RPG's, mission based and multiplayer-oriented.

there is a English Trial(demo) on the US, PSN Store

and you CAN use the save you make in the FULL game
you can do 1st story mode missions(till you get your room)
and a 5 multi-mode mission(Ad-Hoc)
MAX level in the Trial is 20
you can do multi-mode over and over
you can do multi-mode alone or with AI party members

I feel genuinely sorry for you! My sister also wants a PSP and I told her to browse through Marktplaats to find a used one. The price wouldn't be too important, since anything is better than a fuxxed motherboard version.

Lawl, some guy on a known PSP Leaking forum pretended like he was uploading the iso, when he only uploaded a file that was 1.1 gig because it was filled with hundreds of the exact same game trailer.
Needless to say he was taken care of. But man i cant wait for this >_>, i have a PS3 so i can use Ad-Hoc party.

i completed the Japanese version already which wasn't to hard because gameplay is the same as Universe on PC/XBOX360 so there is not really a problem with the equipment and such.

still i am gonna play it again because of the story, its allways better to understand everything and not just some parts.


But i do NOT think this will be a hit in Multiplayer !
1. You can NOT trade items which sucks bad ! (dropping items won't work as well)
2. there is no Online play only ad-hock except you have a PS3 or use X-Link Kai (no clue how the programm works thaught *cry*)

Yeah >_>, freaking MLB got dumped before it, probally someone wanting to get an advantage over us online by playing it longer without dumping. My friend has it, but sadly he doesnt have Custom Firmware.

You just have to make a japanese account and download Ad-Hoc party, pretty much the equivalent of X-Link Kai, but easier to use.

I'm still new to using ad-hoc, only used it for a few games.
This game doesn't REQUIRE a PS3 does it? You can just download xlink kai and use that?

Why can't they just put in a normal ad-hoc system where you just get some friends around and play? >:o
