If you can find which HEX codes need to be edited to "fix the online", i can do another patch with that.
Sorry, I don't have a clue about what to do. :|

Sorry if this is a somewhat selfish request, but could the patch creator make one with Japanese movies anyway? I know there are no subtitles but I think I'll manage.

^That you can mangage yourself, just use dslazy to unpack the jp version, copy the movies folder to somewhere, open up the US version in dslazy, unpack it and replace the movies folder with the one you copied from the japanse version before packing it again.

(Also I should hopefully be getting a decent laptop in around 2 weeks when I next get paid so I'll try and have a crack at swapping round the movies audio using the method posted above then, if no-one else has gotten round to it)

I think the biggest concern now is being able to get the Undub to work with the Online-Mode patch, or something like that.

I mean, who cares if the FMVs aren't in Japanese with English subtitles? They're barely even 5 second long cutscenes.

Patching the online to work with the undub is a much bigger thing to do.

Yes, that is true. But nobody knows what things the patchers patch in the rom to make sure that online works (and with that shitty intro, also changes the ID of the game, with the undub patch, doesn't).

First off thanks for the Undub patch!

I've been trying to patch my rom but whenever I open the Xdelta UI I get an error saying it failed to initialize. Can anybody help me with this or is there another way to patch this?

Well, I read through all four pages and haven't seen this mentioned yet, so... it appears I've found a small anomaly or oversight with the patch. First of all, everything that works right (the intro movie and in-game voices), are great. What isn't great, though, is that there is no music at all at the title screen when it asks you to press start. I don't know if it's just me, but if it isn't, it could be worth looking into. Not that you stay on the title screen for very long, but the Japanese version had some nice music playing, and the US version changed it to something a bit lighter. It just feels a little off to me now with no music...

uhm, I want to ask that has anybody tried this patch with the wifi enabled patch? and I can't seem to be able to run the xdeltaUI, what's the problem ?

it doesnt let me patch it unless its the original. ive tried it with the wifi enable patch but it tells me " xdelta3: Target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT" wat does that mean ? i dont mind playing without the other patch but it would be nice to have both patch on it :3

Thank you very much for the undub patch!

A friend of mine has been trying to undub the cutscenes too. The last time I saw him he said it was really hard...
I hope someone (either my friend or someone else) succeeds at it soon. Until someone succeeds

Until then, Soma Bringer + M&L:BIS!

I've got a question. Which files and folders would I need to transfer from an unpacked (J) rom to an unpacked (U) rom if I wanted to manually do this myself, including the Japanese movies. I saw a post say the movies folder, any other files or folders?

Just the movies folder.

Also I've realised that my movie undub method doesn't work because the emu records the bottom screen as well as the top one.
