Yes there probably some missing, a few one I think (compared to all the roms).

But, to add videos, you need to edit the corresponding gamelist.xml (gamelist_msx.xml maybe in your case) and add the video tag, you can take example on other games with a working video for the syntax.

I guess I should add the image/video tags in the xml files by default (I didn't do so to win some memory, but well on the switch it wouldn't be a problem I guess).

i did take a look at the xml file thinking if it's anything like Retroarch i would be able to do it but it's not.as i soon as i looked at it i closed it :D if you can do it that's fine if not that's also fine it's only few video clips :)

by the way i resized the video clips from 36 seconds to 4 seconds, the mega drive down from 8GB to 800MB :)

Thank you for new release of emulator and continuing to develop for it, we really appreciate you work.

Any news on adding an option to change the difficulty and settings on each game? The problem is we need both a "test" button and also a "service" button.

Its because some games require both of these to get into the settings and change the difficulty. The main problem is that most arcade games are "default" to hard difficulty which make them not fun to play.

Ofc if there is an easier way to change difficulty and settings on each game via a config file?

As always we really appreciate your work on these emulators, thank you

Hi, new pfbn release (very minor changes for pfbn) : https://github.com/Cpasjuste/pemu/releases/tag/4.3

- psnes: fix audio crackling
- psnes: hide unneeded options from options menu
- psnes: allow listing unknown files in rom listing
- psnes: add BLOCK_INVALID_VRAM option
- psnes: add TRANSPARENCY option
- psnes: add DISPLAY_MESSAGES option
- psnes: add FRAMESKIP, TURBO_MODE and TURBO_FRAMESKIP options
- psnes: allow frameskip on switch, while not really needed...
- psnes: update snes9x core to latest version (03/31/2020, 432fc08498b33190a41ae659c3c5fccbeb5b8b3e)
- psnes: include all pFBN changes since last pSNES release (a lot)
- all: add SHOW_REAL_NAMES ui option to show zip names (or fbn names) instead screenscraper name in rom listing
- all: lower videos previews size (1/2 size, 20 seconds instead 36).

hi cpasjuste : thanks for the wholllllle applications + sets.
Is the NES supported righ in PFBN 4.3 ? i saw this mention in readme

Hello, I hope I can get some help here. I have downloaded both PSNES 4.3 and PFBA 4.3 for the switch. I am on FW 9.2 on atmosphere 10.5. I can get PSNES running flawlessly without any issues, however every time I tried to run PFBA, I get the title screen and when it begins its rom scanning, it hard crashes and I have the error page stating it has crashed. I am also running this on emuMMC and I am not sure if that is contributing to the issue. PFBA used to work on my switch when I was on a lower FW back in the days. Thanks in advance.

Below are some details about the error code:
Error Code: 2168-0002 (0x4a8)
Program: 010000000000100D
Firmware 9.2.0 (Atmosphere 0.10.5-master-b27c7552)

Hi cpasjuste. First I would like to say thank you for your work on this project. I’ve been using pfba 1.57 on my vita for a while and it’s been flawless. I just saw that you are compiling releases for the vita again. I installed pfbn 4.3 along with some roms and previews. Emu loads as do games but the controller is all over the place. Is there a dead zone number I should set? Did you have any controller issues with the vita?

This is EXACTLY whats happening to me too. On older firmware it was flawless for me as well.

Are you running pFBA with the "extra memory trick" ? I don't remember how to do do as I use the hbmenu "forwarder" or something like that. Else, are you using exfat or fat32?

No I havent seen that, so I will definitely look into it now. I am using fat32. Thanks for the tip, I appreciate it.

Follow up here, sorry for the double post. Well damn, thanks Cpasjuste, that forwarder i downloaded from this forum(posted by Chronoss) resolved my issue with FBA. Now to find the previews pack for Pfba, Psnes, and Pnes as the ones I have don't seem to be showing any of the games previews when in any of those homebrew. Thanks again!

You'll find links in the readme's (see first port for a link to readme's).

Thank you for the forwarder. I downloaded the one from chronoss post with titled "Somes usefull homebrew on NSP"

The forwarder works as expected and now I am able to run PFBA, however if I try to get back into my homebrew launch it crashes with an error and need to reboot. I ended up installing v3 of the forwarder. Is there a specific version I should try?

edit: I've tried all 3 versions and it appears the workaround is to make sure to close out the FPBA forwarder before launching the homebrew launcher again.

@cpasjuste PSNES is great but there is an issue,if i scroll the list of games for few minutes then i find a game i want to play it will not load & PSNES will freeze, but if i start PSNES again & go straight to this game it will load OK !! any idea why this is happening ?
Your using the forwarder too right? I wonder if its a memory issue. I'll see if I can replicate it on my system.
