perfect dark n64 rom or crack fix help

i have a doctor v64 and my rom perfect dark n64 not work and i search a good rom working n64 for perfect dark and the crack fix ( for run on my doctor v64 ) because all rom have tried i have a black screen

my doctor v64 have 256 mo and the rom PD is 256mo also its good but the rom want a crack fix and on my n64 i have also the expansion ram pack

...i want just the crack and the good rom

If memory serves, you can boot the game just fine without an expansion pack, just that it won't let you do anything but multiplayer or training.

^^^^ You'll either need software boot emulation, a boot emulator cart or a cart plugged in the top that uses the same boot IC as Perfect Dark. You're shit out of luck if you're hoping to find a cracked version. That's the problem with everyone these days demanding clean roms, all cracked versions of any carts have pretty much disappeared.

I have a expansion pack on my wii and i can boot this game just fine, have you tried breathing in the actualy area where you insert your n64 cart, In the solt(Typo Slot) you put it in their could be dust ive had to do this alot, Also bearth at the actualy cart aswell, that solved ALOT of black screens for me. Also if you have a explainsion pack and you get a black screen Always try that method first.

Thanks, Alex. Also they should have remade perfect dark with the same Graphics but added multiplayer...I personaly think the xbox version is rubbish...

I got all the N64 cracks from the time and theres no PD one, the universal boot emulator probably works: http://n64.icequake.net/files/dx-be12b.zip afaik there was no specific software protection on it, the original nfos of USA/PAL and JPN versions all do not mention anything unusual.

Nothing much to add but if my memory of the AR/gameshark N64 days still holds Zelda: Majora's Mask was one.

I have a z64, so I´m not sure how the v64 works.

To boot Perfect Dark I had to use LaC´s universal boot emu.

For Banjo Tooie I had to use the original Donkey Kong Cart for booting and saving.

You might be able to use the boot emu to try the different cic´s, but I don´t know for sure if that would also work.

Well for Perfekt Dark you need the N64 memory expansion. Afaik it runs with Lacs Bootemu without it will boot but not save if i remember right.

luckaly i just found a N64 with the expansion pack and perfect dark for $20 wish i could find a backup unit for cheap or for neoflash to actually make a n64 flash cart (if they ever release it)
