Hacking Question pegaswitch & Patched switch 4.1.0 & backups.

Hello.
I recently got a new switch that is iPatched, and has 4.1.0 firmware.

I was reading about "deja vu" when i came across comments talking about pegaswitch working for patched 4.1.0 switches.

Any guide i come across for information seem to be outdated.

Or don't really mention anything about it working with ipatched switches.

So information about this would be great.

Can the homebrew appstore install cfw on a patched switch?

(I saw on list in appstore ReiNX)

and is there a way to backup my sysNAND
Before all this or after going into a cfw?

Unfortunately there have been no public releases of exploits that work on ipatched switches. Until one is released you are unable to do anything related to CFW or backups

You won't find any real write-ups, as they are private. I was able to find jamais vu on switchbrew.

Deja vu is kinda similar (I think) but for 2.0.0 up to 4.0.1.
Once patched units are hacked, everything will work like on unpatched units.
If you have patched switch, you're not really going into CFW for quite some time. And no, you can't backup your NAND.

He didn't confirm ever using it but said it should work as long as its below 6.2 and dont have supernag.

So thats why I thought it might be possible to get hombrew then a cfw and unpatch the switch.

unpatching a Switch is impossible


deja vu isn’t completely public yet, pegaswitch does have basic support for 4.1.0 but you can’t do much with it yet, but once nvhax gets pushed you’ll be able to use basic homebrew stuff

the only thing that “the patch” does is prevent you from using Fusee Gelee, there is no way to get around that

You need another exploit to be able to use homebrew at all (nvhax will work once its pushed), basic support just allows pegaswitch to run on the system. Uh, I mean I don’t see why it wouldn’t allow the homebrew app store to work (it’s literally just a regular homebrew app that lets you download other homebrew apps)

You can't install cfw on a patched console.

There's nothing you can do.

Kinda obvious that you can't use any homebrew without an exploit. And not every exploit gives you access to everything.

well i was under the impression that homebrew does work at a certain level.
and the same exploit could be used to install a cfw or an app to allow communication that could allow payloads.
