Hacking Pc no longer recognizes switch when trying to send hekate payload

Here is a list of the steps I've taken to hack my switch before encountering this problem:

-Used a jig to enter RCM mode
-did so and sent the hekate payload with Tegra
-backed up my NAND on 4.1.0
-shutdown hekate
-removed SD card and formatted it to FAT32
-placed the contents of the KosmosV1101 zip onto the SD, I left the hekate_ipl.ini file the switch generated though
-made a folder for my 6.1.0 firmware to update later
-made a folder for tinfoil
-placed SD back into switch and sent the payload to launch cfw
-went to launch and saw "no main configurations found..."
-thought this might be due to leaving the original hekate_ipl.ini file on the SD
-shut down hekate and removed SD
-replaced .ini file
-plugged switch back into PC and received message that the driver is not recognized
-stupidly thought autoRCM wasn't working so I used the jig to enter RCM
-nothing changed

I'm hoping the fact that I used the jig on a console with autoRCM on wouldn't cause any kind of problem. I'd think it wouldn't but I'd like to know for sure. I think the problem is the driver. I did reinstall it and it says it's working properly. Could it be the USB-C wire? It is possible autoRCM isn't working?

battery might be dead, try charging it for a while.

It was at 98% when I shut it down and it's been plugged into the PC since then. I've only been unplugging it to check tegra just now. I don't think it would be out of power that fast.

Try an different PC or use android to try and load the payload

If you're getting messages on the PC that the driver is not recognized then the switch is on RCM, so you can go to device manager in your PC, search for the APX (I think it was) device, uninstall/remove it, install the driver again with Tegra and reconnect your switch....or try a different USB cable or USB port in the computer.

Actually I just found out what was wrong on my own but I'll post it here in case anyone else runs into the same problem. Because I used the jig hekate must have crashed. To reset it, I held the power button down for about 12 seconds. After that I plugged the switch back into PC and now it's working fine. So that ended up being the problem.
