LOL I don´t think the nation of the AV really matters. Besides, how much can you trust a Chinese AV?

You're probably gonna have to wait this one out for a week until everybody updates their definitions..
You could spread it around like crazy and speed up the process though...
(that's just a joke)

also.. I agree with Laguer & EC, Norton is an also-ran these days. Sad to say.

I have never heard of a "chinese" virus that is exclusive regionally. Norton updates their definitions with what's floating around on the internet as a whole. I've never had a problem with norton actually, then again I don't visit sites that have excessive adware or other suspicious activities.

P.S. In defense of Norton, I do agree that all their newer clients absolutely are horrendous and useless. However, I'm using an old corporate client that I never have to renew and works perfectly integrated with my emails in outlook and auto protects with the latest definitions. So I cannot complain. And back then, it was still symantec.

I don't see how a virus can attack computers in China only...
And anyway, did you try the suggestions above?
I guess Sony injected this virus to the last shipments Lik-Sang made before shutting it down
