This is cool and all, but let me know when they remaster Little Nemo: Dream Master.

PS.: On a side note, it infuriates me that every time I talk about this game, someone has to bring up Finding Nemo. It. has. no. connection.

I'm going to pass on this. And I had the original, loved it, and the cartoons as well. Why? Because while good, it wasn't great. The game was short (what was it...4 levels that can be played in any order? *checks wikipedia* okay...5. Whooptidoo), level design was far from optimal (I remember getting stuck on the moon every time...even after finishing the game multiple times) and the gameplay elements were pretty random (wtf is that jumping stick about?).
I'm going to play the original a bit to know for sure, but I really think the game held together mainly by not having something negative* and by resonance with the cartoons.

So...making a revival (the NSMBU for duck tales)...maybe. Getting a remake...not a chance.

*remember: back then, gaming standards weren't set. Games with infuriating difficulty, tough controls or terrible graphics - even by the limitations - were pretty common.

has $crooged MC DUCKED would say GAWD FUGGING damn it that is the best buy by my bag pipes!! (FARTS) I just hope this gets on PS Plus for discount but seeing on of the video for the boss battles are going be different then the nes game are going be a blast. Now if only chip and dale RR would get a HD Release with online that would be cool.

I think you broke me.

This isn't the first time disney's tried to revive a retro IP that was actually good. Remember Power of Illusion on 3DS Last year? Yeah, might as well have called it "Castle Of Illusion 2" As it's the only one in the series that serves as a real sequel to the Genesis original. It was a really good game - short, but a really good game. Of course, not half as many people have Nostalgia for Disney/SEGA games as do for Disney/Capcom games, so this is going to get a LOT more discussion going.

Still, I'd love to see another game like Quackshot or World Of Illusion one day. Few disney games can compare to world in their ability to capture the classic disney universe and bring it forth for all it's worth. I've only discovered the games again recently, but playing them feels like a new childhood. But...for the love of god, if that happens, give it to a better dev. Today SEGA is NOT 90s SEGA by a longshot. Even capcom wisened up to the fact that they haven't been able to do shit with good 2D games since Inafune left and gave Ducktales to WayForward...now if only WF got Megaman, too...
