Hacking Patching help! [Please read]

Hey again, I've been followed this tutorial: http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=149734 and have been successful (I think) till I have to patch YSMenu.nds, how do I patch files? I downloaded the GUI version, as the tutorial suggested. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, I have TTIO.nds in the moonshl2 folder, though.

OK so I downloaded it, am I supposed to just put it in the same folder as "YSMenu.nds" or what?

No.. you use it to patch the YSMenu file. You put the TTIO.dldi into the same directory as dlditool32.exe, browse for it, and the .nds file, then press Patch.

OK, I'm supposed to patch the "YSMenu" file when it's on my micro card, correct?

It doesn't make a difference, you could patch it and put it on, or put it on and patch it.

OK thanks for your help, it still doesn't work, though. I probably did something wrong in that other tutorial. Oh well I suppose.

Did you patch the Moonshell 2 rom too? And name it as "TTMENU.dat"?

Whoa, I didn't know you were supposed to patch that file also. But yeah, moonshell loads right away now!

Though, I'm still unable to load games. I had them in a "Games" folder and tried loading them and on the root of the card but no success.

EDIT 1: Also, it's failing to load applications.
