Is it possible to patch a 3DS rom with a game update? Now that Citra is somewhat taken off on Android, would prefer updates patched into games as dont want install/create more files on the phone.
Unpack the .3DS file with a program like HackingTooklit9DS (or 3DS), then do the same for the update. Copy the update files over the extracted .3DS files overwriting anything if needed, then repackage into a .3DS file, that's all. Just make sure to not mess up the HeaderFS or some pointers and you are good to go!

There's a new "magazine" 'round these parts, one of those where you get a piece of a model ship every issue, and you can build the whole ship eventually.
