Hardware Patched switch?

Hi everyone, i have been looking for an unpatched switch on ebay/gumtree, i have found one thats well priced but the serial is XAJ40047- according to the serial number checker its in the orange zone (XAJ40046 onwards). Is it worth the risk? Thanks

You can buy it, and if it's a patched unit, you could always resell it (or wait for a release of CFW for ipatched units)

Picked it up, its unpatched. Theres a thin stratch on the screen however (which is a shame) but cant see it when the screen is on. Thanks for the advice
