i log in once every a lot of time, so i might as well make a thread while im at it

basically, long ago i played dragon quest 9 on original cartridge. said cart met with a terrible fate long, long time ago. after that, i have played and replayed that game a number of times, but i always miss how the original sounded, because when i play on flashcard, no matter the flashcard, no matter the microSD, it is not perfect

the main problem i remember is that when i went to save on a church, a music plays, but it always gets cut before it ends, probably because wtiting the save to the sd is just faster than writing it to a original cart. there may be other small "errors" that i do not remember, and probably the music for removing curses and poison and resurrecting characters on church are also cut, but after a certain point you dont really use those so i dont remember

but i would love to, in the future, replay the game and save the game and hear the music theme for saving full. i do not have romhacking (or coding for that matter) knowledge so i honestly dont know how easy or hard that can be to make possible

if anyone here actually wants to make this possible, have my infinite thanks and know that i am in no need to play this inmediatly, so you dont need to haste. also i log in very rarely because of who i am as a person, im sorry, dont take that as like my interest on this dissapeared

if i find time, remember, stop being a mess of a person in general, or whatever, i will try to make and post a savefile with a dead, a cursed, and/or poisoned characters on a church to help, but again im bad at just waking up one day and deciding im going to do things and actually doing them, im so sorry about that. also generic "my english may not be perfect" excuse. thanks in advance to anyone who actually even considers doing this thing

I know this is an old post, and I know this is a silly little issue that hardly affects the experience at all, but has anyone found a way to fix the church music in DQ9 when you save your game?
